The pneumatic actuator of magnetically coupled pneumatic cylinder consumes compressed air, while magnetically coupled rodless air cylinder needs to convert the compressed air consumption into the electricity consumption of the compressor. The electric cylinder can use direct measurement to obtain the power consumption. Therefore, the power consumption of the two actuators under the same working conditions can be used as the basis for energy consumption evaluation.
